Ishimura+Neichi is a Tokyo-based architectural practice. We developed a visual identity and website built around a typographic system pairing Noi Grotesk (Studio Feixen) for English with Tazugane Info (Monotype) for Japanese. Unlike most Japanese typefaces, which are designed for both horizontal and vertical use, Tazugane Info is built specifically for horizontal digital text, making it a natural pair with Noi Grotesk's Swiss-modern character. The project brings the longstanding print convention of Japanese-English mixed typesetting into a digital context, an approach rarely seen online. The English text is scaled up 10% and spaced to align with the Japanese, allowing both languages to sit in consistent rhythm across the page. Rather than build a conventional portfolio, the website directs visitors to Instagram, keeping the site itself focused on identity and presence.
